Planning Bali with a baby can feel confusing…
There are so many places — Seminyak, Ubud, Nusa Dua, Nusa Penida, Gili Islands —
and most people end up trying to cover everything.
But honestly, that doesn’t work with kids.
After travelling to Bali with my baby, here’s a simple 7-day plan that actually works —
slow, practical and not exhausting.
🌴 DAY-WISE ITINERARY
📍 Day 1–2: Seminyak (Best for easy start)
Start your trip in Seminyak — this is the most convenient area after landing.
What to do:
* Relax at your villa
* Visit Seminyak Beach (evening only)
* Explore nearby cafes
Why this works with kids:
- Everything is close
* No long travel
* Easy food options
📍 Day 3–5: Ubud (Nature + Experiences)
Ubud is peaceful, green and perfect for slow travel.
What to cover:
* Rice fields (Tegalalang) 🌾
* Bali Swing
* Local temples 🛕
* Bali Zoo 🐘
Why this works:
* Mix of nature + culture
* Beautiful villas (great for kids)
* Calm environment
👉 Tip: Don’t plan more than 1–2 places per day
📍 Day 6–7: Nusa Dua (Relax & unwind)
End your trip here — clean, calm and perfect with kids.
What to do:
* Beach time (very clean & safe)
* Resort / pool day
* Relax before flying back
Why this works:
- Less crowded
* Easy movement
* Perfect ending to trip
❌ WHAT TO SKIP WITH KIDS
Nusa Penida & Gili Islands
* Not stroller-friendly
* Require long travel (boats, transfers)
* Can get very hectic with a baby
👉 Better to skip and keep your trip relaxed
💡 IMPORTANT TIPS
- Plan only 1-2 outing per day
* Always stay in central areas
* Keep buffer time (don’t rush)
* Choose villas/resorts over packed hotels
Bali is not about covering everything…
It’s about enjoying the experience — especially when you’re travelling with a baby.
Slow travel will always work better.
