Complete age-wise food carry list for international

0–6 months 🍼
If exclusively breastfeeding — you’re actually the easiest traveller! Just carry:
• Nursing cover if needed
• Extra breast pads
• If formula fed — pre-measured formula in dispenser box, enough for flight + 1 extra day
• Sterilised bottles (carry 3 minimum)
• Portable bottle warmer or ask flight crew for warm water
• ORS sachets — just in case

6–12 months 🥣
Starting solids stage — needs most prep:

• Home Made cerelac, recipe : https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8NIbZYhhIO/

• Ready-to-eat puree pouches (Plum, Happa, Slurp Farm) — carry 6–8 for a 5 day trip
• Puffs and melt-in-mouth snacks — Bamba, Slurp Farm puffs• Rice rusks or teething biscuits
• Small dabba of dry cereal like oats or ragi — add warm water from 7/11 or hotel
• Baby spoon + foldable bowl
• Bib x3 minimum (they’ll use all of them 😂)
• Carry enough for flight + 2 full days from India

1–2 years 🍌
This age is actually easiest to manage abroad:
• Banana — available everywhere, always safe
• Britannia Little Hearts / Marie biscuits — familiar taste, easy to carry
• Dry fruits — raisins, small pieces of cashew
• Instant oats sachet — just needs hot water
• Small dabba of homemade thepla / mathri — lasts 3–4 days without fridge
• Fruit pouches for travel days
• Peanut butter single serve sachets
• Their favourite 2–3 snacks from home — familiarity = less fuss

2–3 years 🧒
Most flexible age — eats more of what you eat:
• Thepla, mathri, namkeen — homemade or packaged, lasts well
• Mixed dry fruits and nuts
• Digestive biscuits
• Instant poha / upma sachets — just add hot water from hotel kettle
• Maggi — yes it’s fine for travel days 😂
• Packaged dal makhani / rajma pouches — heat and eat
• Their favourite chips / crackers for flight distraction
• Chocolate — small, for bribery purposes only 😂

✈️ For ALL ages — always carry these:
• ORS sachets x5
• Zincovit or multivitamin drops
• Toddler-safe mosquito repellent (Mamaearth or Chicco)
• Basic medicine kit — fever drops, nasal drops, band-aids
• Wet wipes x2 packs minimum
• Zip lock bags — for leftover food, wet clothes, everything

🌏 What you’ll easily find abroad:
• Banana, bread, boiled eggs — 7/11 everywhere in Bangkok, Malaysia, Bali
• Plain rice — any local restaurant, just ask
• Warm milk — most hotels and 7/11
• Baby cereal — most supermarkets in Bangkok (Tops Market) and Malaysia (Cold Storage)
So carry enough from India for flight + first 2 days. After that you’ll figure it out on ground! 🙌
